HAHA YAYY SO EXCITING (: i'm going to egypt with my daddy! in case you're wondering why it's only the two of us! it's because my family already went for holiday while i was at pga camp >< and so now daddy's taking me with him on the flight! so cool right! he's flying the plane and i'm sitting in it :D

anyway! i'll miss everyone! and don't miss me so much! but i'll buy nice nice things back from egypt for you all (:

haha oh saturday was so cute la! we went to yongen to help out at the fair thing, and jiakang and i were attached to this old man who doesn't walk, but marches around! so cute la! and then he tried serenading us with yue liang dai biao wo de xin ><

haha! and lina's sister's wedding was SO CUTE LA! they had a bollywood mv because her sis likes watching hindi movies! and it was such an unusual wedding, not the normal boring kind! and the bride and groom ballroom danced, then after that lina's parents danced, and then her sister danced with her father! SO SWEEETTTTT! haha and after that my daddy said he felt inspired to learn ballroom dancing too (:

today is OFFICIALLY THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE :D

I TOOK A PHOTO WITH FELICIA CHIN. yayyyyyyyyyyyyy!! but blogger is annoying and wont let me upload the photo! so you could always see the photo of pretty her and me on my msn dp!

haha YAYYY (: and yuanying's auntie is super cute la she er tried very hard not to associate herself with yuanying 'gao su dao yan shi winnie jiao ni men lai de. winnie horh! bu shi er yi ma!'

translated as, tell the director that winnie called you to come down. remember horh, winnie! not second auntie ah.

haha and she kept trying to get us to appear in front of the camera. YAY AND YOU WILL SEE JIAKANG AND I BOMBARDING FELICIA CHIN WITH CAMERAS, OR GASPING WHEN SOMEONE SHOOTS HER WITH A WATER GUN. so exciting right! hahaa (:

YAYY I AM SUCH A HAPPY PERSON TODAY (:

haha i think my daddy was so cute today la! cos when he reached home right, he very excitedly told me about how today, his co-pilot told him that his son was acting in mediacorp, and was being nominated for the young actors' award thing at star search, and so my daddy told him that my baby brother is very interested in that sort of thing, and the co-pilot promised to try and help find auditions for my baby brother to go to! HAHAAA maybe you'll see him on tv one day :D


and i was feeling so sad over the past few days! thinking how we are all jack of all trades and masters of none. but i guess we can't help it. we can never be really good tennis players, or dancers or actresses, because we will never give up everything for any of the above. because no matter what, our studies come first and we are not willing to drop everything to pursue our dreams because i think we are all just very safe people who want to do something more stable, like study hard and get a good and stable job.

because like maria sharapova, she gave up everything to go to the US to enrol in the tennis academy at 7. can you imagine! being p1 and deciding that you want to be a world renowned tennis player, and investing a million dollars in training! she trained for ten years before she won wimbledon and each year in the academy is US$60 000! up till now i still am not very sure what i want to be in future how could she have decided at seven and been so determined about it it's really amazing la!

but i guess right now since i can't change anything i shall just train harder for tennis and go for dance lessons and er ACT AS EXTRAS in shows >< like on thursday! yayy i'm looking forward to it haha!

and i want to buy new clothes! but i know how hard money is to earn! so after i have earned a thousand dollars, only then will i spend the rest! but i want to get a dress! like those casual dresses! maybe i shall buy one this week to use when i go attend lina's sister's wedding on saturday :D

boooo today was SUCH A TERRIBLE DAY ): first we had to go back to school to get our testimonials, and there was this whole mistake on our WHOLE CLASS'S testimonials! and the worst thing was that we had to photocopy it by today for the humans scholarship application so basically we er just spent A LONG TIME. in school and didnt get to watch a movie. but after that we decided to cheer up and go to vivocity. haha which was quite cool! i want cool nike trackpants! everyone can get me nike vouchers for my birthday haha then i can pool them together and get the ninety dollar pants :D haha just kidding, it's not that worth it la.

and then HAHAHAHAAAAAA we went to studio wu, and fifteen minutes before 6.30, i called to book for j/k pop which was SUPPOSEDLY at 6.30, or so SOMEONE thought. haha and it turned out that it started at 5.30 and we missed it. so we just went to amoy street market for dinner and talked for quite long about jc and working life, ah it's so stressful la!

and since i've uploaded photos i shall photoblog! ah i feel so happy i have such good friends in class and in guides (: EVEN SILLY ANNOYING FRIENDS WHO MISS MY BIRTHDAY FOR FOUR YEARS IN A ROW AHEM JOLYN KHOO! and i am still angry with you okay! because there's no point celebrating a birthday unless it's on the day itself HMPHHHHHHH.

but anyway I LOVE SAN GEN CAO YAYYY and our new promotional manager! cherylw i want all our promotional shots which are 'angled' :D and our mv >< and ah i think we've done many many things together like cooking at last years guides chalet (: and cheryl i want to go to your house to record soon so fun! haha YAYY <333333!

and kbox yesterday was fun too i think we sang more songs than the last time we went, which was quite an easy task considering the last time we went, we had to throw remote controls to shut some people up X)

and batch bbq! AH SO FUNNNNN (: such a romantic rooftop barbecue place! and we were playing bridge the whole night and it was SO FUNNY listening to celeste insulting princess haha! because somehow, cherylw and i always ended up as partners, and celeste was stuck with michelle and they always lost hahahahaaa! and then we played SPARKLERS so pretty (:

and we dunked athena, who asked for it by the way!

and the after that we went to aileen's house to karaoke, and actually it was just cherylw princess and i singing the rest were playing uno! hahahaa AND we have a PROMOTIONAL MANAGER NOW! CELESTE YEO haha! who doesn't appear very supportive on the outside, but gives us GREAT moral support otherwise! by patiently listening to us singing (while everyone else is playing uno ><) and taking pictures of us ><>< because we're either singing/ laughing too hard or photowhoring hahaha! BUT IT WAS SUCH FUN! and we even have photos of our fans (: YAYY and we'll go to cherylw's house to record and album soon YAYYYYYYY :D

ah i just came back from my manicure and pedicure, so as i'm typing this, my peenk glittery/shiny nails are running across the keyboard :D

yayy i'm so excited about tomorrow! after the many hours of shopping and fretting and listening to my mummy's funny comments, PROM IS FINALLY GOING TO BE HERE (:

haha let me recount my mummy's classic comments!

1. (when i first showed her the form to ask her for a cheque to pay for the dinner) WHAT? THREE MONTHS TIME? do you know now you have so little time you might have to get your dress OFF THE RACK?! (hahaa she honestly looked quite horrified!)

2. (when i couldnt find a perfect dress about one month before) why don't you first buy the daniel yam one? if you find another nicer dress, you could always change halfway through the night! you can enter looking really cute and youthful, and after that come back with a matured look. (to which i replied that after my dress change, everyone would have gone home)

HAHAA i think my mummy comes in tops being the most anxious about prom! hahaa

and DO YOU ALL KNOW THAT JIAKANG'S FAMILY CLAN COMING DOWN WAS JUST A BIG JOKE THEY PLAYED ON HER! hahahaaaaaaaa.><

yayy tomorrow! i think i must have spent at least a thousand dollars in the past month, but i got a new camera i'm happy :D

haha! but it's annoying to have birthdays during the hols. everyone flies off! ):

ah today was a nice day where i was quite free (: so what i did was i read the sisterhood of the travelling pants again! and ahh it's such a nice book (: because they are such good friends even though they're really different. but that's the beauty of friendship i guess (:

but the ending paragraphs really struck me

But there were a million little lines of shading that we couldn't convey so easily. They were the subtle things, and understanding them, even knowing when you missed them, was what separated other friends from real friends, like we were.

yes! i think that's very true. because i think that sometimes, it's just nice to walk around with a person, not having to say a word and not feel the least uncomfortable.

ah i like reading (: i shall buy more books soon!

BUT ): do you know i did a rough calculation! and i think i'll be spending about FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS just on prom night itself!

with the dinner, the dress, make up, hair, manicure + pedicure, shoes, accesories and clutch (maybe) hahaa but AT LEAST no hotel (:

but i feel so cheated la because it's at orchard hotel because our school booked mandarin late this year! and it's so unfair because our stupid school booked it for NEXT YEAR already cos they learnt a lesson after our year. LUCKY SEC THREES ):

boo! haha and i feel like i've been feeling more financially independant now that i'm working, but at the same time i've been spending more too! or maybe it isn't more, actually, just that i've understood the value of money now, or that i've just been offering to pay for more things that i would have asked my parents for money instead, otherwise. hmm oh well! but at least i did something good with the money i've earned so far! i bought my mummy an mp3 player (:

ah thursday was such a GREAT DAY (: you know! fourfourteen is so pro! we got second for soccer and FIRST for floorball! haha (: and we never knew we were that sporty haha! anddddd i was QUITE GOOD at floorball okay! haha i scored TWO out of like six goals hahaaa! YAYY and then after that we all went out for lunch at PS and then jolyn bob jiakang and i went to the east to prom shop haha we were just bringing bob and jolyn around (: the EAST is such a nice place to live in YAYY (:

and yesterday ): was such a sad sad day la! i didnt think i would actually feel anything, but then at farewell assembly when our class gathered around and sang graduation a lot of us just started tearing ): because i guess no matter how much you try and treasure every moment you have, it still comes to a time when you have to part ): and it didnt strike us until then. and all you juniors who were looking down from the first floor, i'm sure you must have thought we were all silly to be crying since we would all probably be going to rj together, but it wouldnt be the same because we'll all be split into EVEN MORE classes and hardly see each other again because we'll all be caught up in work ):

but i think fourfourteen is such a nice class i'm sure i would want to be in any other class and it felt so nice when we all just threw our ties up in the air (:

and then ): gen left! i cant believe i always thought the furthest people would go would be to hc and acsi! but gen went to canada ):

and then in class it was another crying thing because we all sang dedication and pass it on, and i think it might just be the last time we sing it as a class, or even singing it! and i hope we all dont get emo on FAM and be silly and smudge our makeup and end up looking gross haha we were already all puffy eyed yesterday!

and we were just saying how 2A2B will all be good actresses because we cry so easily ><

but well I'LL REALLY MISS YOU ALL ): bob! who's going to rj! jolyn! who's going to science stream ): haha but i might just go there in the end >< but seriously la i think my secondary school life was so nice because of fourfourteen and especially jolyn bob princess jiakang and queenie (: haha and we are so going to get our 2 AWESOME 2 BEAUTIFUL jersey :D hahaaaa yes we shall! and we shall all go to kbox very often and everything!

ah but i think this is just something that will happen every year, because i remember a lot of people telling me to cherish my sec four life, but there are some things that you just dont get until it hits you that it's over. like guides farewell and now sec four farewell.

but i'm thankful for the experience, happiness, joy, tears and everything because i think i grew a lot in secondary school (:

but AH I'LL MISS YOU EVERYONE i dont think i'll miss the school particularly or anything, but i know i'll miss the people ):
